Genesis
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Since its inception in 1965, Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central Schools) have been known for excellence in school education, promoting national integration, Indianness, and holistic personality development.
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Jammu Region, established in 1984, is recognized as one of the best among the 25 regions within KVS. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bhadarwah, founded in 2003 in a temporary building, aims to instill values in students and staff with the motto “Enter to learn, Leave to serve.” The school currently serves 506 students and 27 teachers. KVS is renowned for its pioneering policies, pace-setting activities, and trailblazing achievements, focusing on empowering students with essential 21st-century skills and fostering well-rounded development.
